Position Summary

Boulder City Hospital is seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Dietary Aide to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in supporting patient care by assisting with food preparation, tray service, meal delivery, and maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, organized, and committed to providing excellent service to patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and assembly of meals for patients, residents, and employees
• Prepare and deliver patient meal trays accurately and in a timely manner
• Perform trayline duties and ensure food quality and portion control standards are met
• Deliver food carts to designated hospital areas
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas, equipment, dishes, and utensils
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
• Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory as needed
• Work cooperatively with dietary staff and other hospital departments
• Provide courteous and professional customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices preferred
• Food Handler Card

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to:

• Stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
• Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects and equipment
• Reach with hands and arms
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Talk, hear, taste, and smell
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
